Gangubai Kathiawadi actress Alia Bhatt‘s Bollywood appearances and eccentric YouTube videos never fail to amaze us. But before she became renowned, she was just another obese adolescent. Here are some fitness lessons we’ve learnt from her, and we’d want to share them with you so you may admire her even more on her birthday!
Can't Stop, Won't Stop

The gym may be closed, but Bhatt still gets her daily ration of endorphins. She schedules virtual fitness sessions with her trainer to keep her spirits up during this trying period. “Alia’s exercise plan consists of a combination of strength, functional, and high-intensity activity,” her trainer, Sohrab Khushrushahi, said. “On days when we can’t meet, I’ll email her an aerobic regimen to complete, which she faithfully does. She enjoys jogging and exercising on her legs,” he explained.

There’s no doubting that working out with your bestie is a lot more enjoyable. They have each other’s back in the most genuine way, whether they’re conducting a strength training workout or a pilates session. When you exercise with a friend, you’re more likely to be enthused about getting there, and you may inspire each other to work out harder and continue to exceed your personal bests.
Switch It Up Sometimes

While Bhatt likes pilates, she isn’t afraid of a hard HIIT exercise or a cardio session. Khushrushahi like mixing things up, so Bhatt doesn’t mind. “I’ve always thought the routine was dull. And, while it is necessary to be dull at times in order to see results, I enjoy varying my routines. As a result, Alia’s regimen is always changing.” Switching between aerobic and strength workouts allows you to concentrate on different muscle areas while improving your overall fitness and metabolism.
Living “Dum Laga Ke Haisha” Philosophy

Bhatt gets no days off, whether she has an injured shoulder or a tight shooting schedule. “Because it conflicts with your normal body clock, shooting at night may be incredibly exhausting for the body.” I awoke today feeling completely weary. “However, after monkeying around and doing some rigorous pilates, my energy level simply skyrocketed,” she said in an Instagram caption. “With Alia, I feel we’re practicing for life rather than a single movie role, though she could kill me if I say that. We won’t mess with our long-term goals too much,” Khushrushahi stated.
Consistency Is The Key

The first few times you try a new workout might be challenging. But it’s worth it once you get used to it. Pilates was the first workout that Bhatt fell in love with. “Even though I had previously worked out, going to the gym was always a chore for me. I had to force myself to go there. But in this case, it’s the other way around. Sometimes I have to force myself not to go to the gym,” she explained.
We love you Alia and you truly do inspire us!
