Alia Bhatt’s skincare routine is actually simple and one that you can easily incorporate in your life. She was recently open about her skin care routine and revealed how non-negotiable it is for her, whether she does it in her car, vanity van or maybe even the lift. “My skincare routine is one of the most important parts of my life and the most exciting parts of my day,” she shared in a recent video she uploaded on her YouTube channel. Here’s the six step skincare routine Alia follows:
First and foremost – CLEANSE. It is very important to cleanse your skin before moving forward to any step. Just wash your face properly by opting for any face wash that suits your skin type, be it foam type or gel one.
Then comes in the Skin Massager. This might be new to many, but each morning, the actress uses a skin massager for a minute or two and just massages her skin thoroughly. This helps in removing water retention. All one needs to do is to spray water or rose water, and then just massage. Skin Massager helps in removing the early morning puffiness on the face.
For Alia, the next step is applying Eye Cream. This helps remove the under eye puffiness as well as any dryness caused in the under eye.
Now, this is the most favorite step for Alia Bhatt. Look to Niacinamide. Alia used Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Dew Drops. It gets rid of fine lines, protects from pollution and hydrates skin.
[Use of Niacinamide: It is a derivative of vitamin B3, which is called niacin. It can work wonders for your skin, especially if you have acne. It also hydrates the skin, binds moisture to the skin, clears blemishes and prevents wrinkles.]
Also, Quick Tip by Alia Bhatt : Whatever you apply on the face, feel free to apply on the hands and the neck.
Next comes tackling the puffiness under the eyes. She applies caffeine solution drops that help decrease water retention in the area. The actress has to face the camera after waking up, hence this becomes an important step for her. Caffeine is very helpful to remove the bagginess under your eyes.
Moisturizer is a must! Just like your body needs water, your skin does too. And that comes in with a moisturizer. Facing the lights and the weather change requires that your skin is healthy and gets all the hydration it needs. Hence, moisturize, moisturize, moisturize.
Surprising, but people who moisturize their skin at a young age are much more likely to have beautiful skin when they get older.
No one can stress this enough, but this is an extremely important step that should become a part of everyone’s skin care routine (if it’s not already) – Sunscreen. Like Alia says – “Even if you go near a window, you need sunscreen.”
SPF protects your skin from the sun’s harmful UV rays, reducing your chances of painful sunburns, skin cancer, and early signs of ageing like dark spots and wrinkles. Alia uses the sunscreen before her makeup.
