Fit Bharat makes certain that their ardent workout aficionados stay as athletic as they were before. After the huge participation in the Roll & Up challenge, it’s time to take up yet another challenge and should be enthusiastically participated in by people from all over India. The Sumo Squat is this week’s Friday fitness challenge, and it’s a fun one!

What Is A Sumo Squat?

The sumo squat is an excellent lower-body strength exercise that targets the inner thigh muscles as well as the glutes, quads, hamstrings, hip flexors, and calves.

How To Perform A Sumo Squat?

The goal is to jump, maintain your legs separated, bend your knees, and touch your fingers to the ground.

The practice must begin with a fixed stare straight ahead. Legs are joined and the feet are at an angle with each other. The legs must be warmed up and ready for this strenuous test

Begin by jumping a little and widening your legs at the start of the exercise. The space between the legs must be sufficient to resemble that of a Japanese Sumo wrestler.

Bend down and place your fingers/palms on the ground while your legs are apart. Return to your original position by jumping again.

Precautions

Please warm up thoroughly before attempting this challenge to prevent harm. Muscle soreness may be exacerbated by erratic motions. Stretching exercises are also advised after the challenge to keep your muscles strong and prepared to accept upcoming Fit Bharat challenges.

How To Win This Challenge?

One rep consists of precise and neat jumps with hands touching the ground. When the hands do not make contact with the ground, the round is not tallied. Make an effort to complete as many squats as possible in one minute. The competitors who complete the most crisp and proper squats in one minute will be crowned the victors.
