Shehnaaz Gill got famous when footage of her discussing her weight-loss quest went viral. On the occasion of Shehnaaz’s birthday on January 27, anchor and talk show host Janice Sequeira released a video of the starlet discussing her weight drop struggle.

Shehnaaz rose to prominence following her appearance on Bigg Boss 13. And although she did not win the title, she did score a couple of hearts and finished as the second runner-up. Because of her upbeat personality, the starlet was frequently in the spotlight throughout her time in the Bigg Boss house.

Shehnaaz stated that she was not interested in reducing weight in the past because it was her personal want. She went on to say that when she began receiving decent offers, she resolved to reduce weight.

“It’s not that tough to lose weight. Because it is entirely up to the individual. It will work if you make up your mind. It is worthwhile. However, if your willpower is weak, no one can help you,” she added in the video.

Shehnaaz Gill was in the headlines again after the show concluded due to her dramatic weight reduction. In an appearance with ETimes TV, the actor discussed the issue and disclosed how she shed 12 kg in less than 6 months.
Eating habits must be modified

Shehnaaz had revealed her weight-loss secret, saying, “Trust me, I went in for a modest decrease in my eating habits.” You might say that I only ate non-vegetarian meals, chocolates, and ice cream. But, aside from that, let me describe how I ate since that is the catch.
I just ate one or two items every day. I wouldn’t cram too much diversity into my everyday dietary intake. For instance, if I had dal and moong for lunch, I would have the same for supper. And I cut back on the servings. I ate only one roti if I was hungry for two. Man maarke khati thi And it began to work. I was 67 kg when the lockdown began in March, and I am currently 55 kg.”

Speaking some more about her weight reduction, Shehnaaz Gill stated that she is pleased with herself when she looks in the mirror. She stated, “I can’t foretell the future, but I don’t believe I’ll get swept away and put on weight again.”
I had lost over 55 kg in Punjab prior to actually entering Bigg Boss 13, and everyone told me that I should put it back on. And I did it! Not any longer!! Looking in the mirror today makes me extremely pleased.”
“As it is, the camera makes us appear larger than we are. And let me tell you, if you’re not bulky, you’ll get more parts. Similar sorts of professions are available if you are fat. If you’re not overweight, you can get practically any position.”
