“What distinguishes Sushmita Sen is her energy and passion for attempting new things. She is incredibly knowledgeable about the current routines, and I am always having her come up with new ideas that she would want to add to her routine. She spends hours researching new tactics in minute detail, and she frequently breaks them down and tries them out on her own to see how they work for her,” Shikhare explained.

Sushmita Sen feels that while going to the gym can keep you healthy, attempting new activities will push you even further. Her workout programme now includes callisthenics, aerial silk yoga, and mixed martial arts.

“It may seem cliche, but that’s exactly what it comes down to. Sushmita Sen’s intensive training programme belies her age of 45. When you enjoy what you do, excitement and consistency come naturally. The idea is to choose a discipline that appeals to you, whether it’s running, sports, or yoga. Begin cautiously, allotting yourself an hour every day, and gradually increase the intensity of your chosen kind of exercise,” suggests Shikare.
