Shah Rukh Khan’s chiselled avatar for his new film Pathaan has caused quite a stir on the internet. King Khan’s fitness trainer, Prashant Subhash Sawant, revealed that the 56-year-old can be seen sporting eight-pack abs for which he has been working hard for the past four years.
Prashant, a personal fitness trainer with over 25 years of experience, has been working with the superstar for over two decades.
“I’ve been training Shah Rukh for 24 years; the last four have been dedicated to this film.”
Despite the fact that the pandemic slowed his progress, he has remained consistent. Shah Rukh began doing a lot of heavy lifting because his appearance in Pathaan is so different. We used to do a lot of circuit training and cardio workouts, but now we do more strength training, which has helped him look better and bigger. We worked for two years to achieve the toned physique you see on screen. “His frame and appearance have completely changed,” Prashant said.

Shah Rukh took to Instagram to share the first look at his highly anticipated film, writing: “Shah Rukh agar thoda Rukh bhi gaya toh Pathaan ko kaise rokoge… apps and abs bana dalunga…
His new look drew a lot of praise from his fans and followers, as expected.
“King of Bollywood,” one wrote, while another said, “You are the hottest celebrity, I love my Pathaan.”
Concerning the actor’s diet, the fitness trainer revealed that Shah Rukh’s calorie intake had been increased, with a greater emphasis on protein, such as lean meat, egg whites, and lentils. “From carbs to fat and protein, everything in the diet was planned and measured.” Transformations are always about collaboration. Despite injuries, he came back stronger by performing deadlifts, pull-ups, and working on his core and legs. “His discipline is admirable,” Prashant recalled.
The trainer only had kind words for Shah Rukh, saying, “Pathaan is going to be different.” It’s incredible to see his transformation, which would not have been possible without his dedication. “He is no less than a fitness icon for everyone because he maintains not only physical strength, but also mental strength in difficult times like the pandemic,” said Prashant.
