Not all of us are “morning people” and being productive in the mornings is something the majority struggles with. Be it getting up on time, eating breakfast before 10, or starting work early. Here are some steps you can follow while strategically planning you’re morning routines:-

    1. Wake up on time
If you don’t get up with a single alarm ring, try setting one in intervals of 5, 30 mins prior to the time you actually want/need to wake up. Sometimes even our natural clock, the Circadian Rhythm, regulating our sleep-wake cycle, gets us up if we tell our brain the time we want to get up before going to bed. However, this method might not be feasible for everyone.

    2. Get Out Of Bed Immediately
After you’re up and feel like dozing off again, instead of taking those 5 extra minutes to sleep which more often than not turn 30, getting straight out of bed is the best option.

    3. Keep The Devices Away
Don’t use your phone right after you wake up. While it is far-fetched given the current conditions, your body needs to reboot to set off for the upcoming day, and introducing it to phones early in the morning should be avoided as much as possible. Do some breathing exercises and/or meditate.

    4. Take A Shower & Brush Your Teeth
If you still feel sleepy, take a hot/cold shower according to your preference. A shower and brushing your teeth will most definitely wake you up and make you feel fresh.

    5. Workout
While everyone has a different preference with regard to when they should work out, getting it done early in the morning makes you feel productive. Start with a 10-minute workout if you’re running low on time, otherwise do what your body demands.

    6. Eat A Healthy Breakfast
We all have heard people saying “Breakfast is the most important meal of the day”, and well it is! Your body has not consumed any food during the duration of your sleep, so the first thing that goes into your body after the long interval to “break the fast” should be loaded with nutrients and something that you enjoy eating.

    7. Set Your Goals For The Day
If you find it difficult to follow a routine or a plan and feel like you’re wasting the majority of the day not being productive, then setting your goals/ a “to-do list” early will enable you to accomplish more. Invest in a good planner & stationery and be consistent.

    8. Start The Hustle                                                                                                    After you’re done with the aforementioned points, fully awake & energetic, start your daily hustle. Be it attending your classes if you’re a student or going to the office if you’re working. Be wary of your goals for the day and try to fulfill them step by step.

This was a basic outline as to how your mornings should look like for maximum productivity. Watching celebrities having the perfect morning routines will motivate you to follow one as well. Everyone can make tweaks here & there according to what suits them.
