<p>Kapoor&#8217;s diet has changed dramatically in the two years he has been eating with Neat Meals Company.</p>

We were both aware that overcoming these emotional and psychological challenges would be difficult, yet Arjun and I were ready to take on this challenge with all our hearts.</p>
<p>Arjun is a gourmet who enjoys excellent quality American diner food. Packaged junk food is not appealing to him. We used to experiment a lot with his diet at first, even permitting cheat meals once every ten days. But there came a moment when he resolved to only cheat on his diet when he met a goal he&#8217;d set for himself. Around this time, he had also begun to monitor his own meals. He&#8217;d started thinking of food as fuel, and that was the most powerful adjustment. He lasted 21 days without eating a cheat meal if I&#8217;m not incorrect.</p>
<h3><strong>What are his normal meals consist of?</strong></h3>
<p><strong>AA:</strong> Arjun&#8217;s diet consists mostly of four clean meals each day, totalling 1200 kcal. He often eats an egg-based or protein smoothie-based breakfast. His protein-rich breakfast aids in keeping him full. His meals are often well-balanced. He consumes protein pancakes, protein toast, turkey lettuce wraps, and other foods high in monounsaturated fatty acids (MUFA) and polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) for snacks. His dinners are often lower in carbohydrates and higher in fibre and protein.</p>

<p><strong>AA:</strong> He avoids processed foods, refined sugars, refined wheat, dairy, very acidic meals, goitrogens, and other similar substances. These aid him in lowering inflammatory indicators, preventing illness development, and improving disease management.</p>

The key for persons battling with obesity is to recognise that the weight loss process is not difficult &#8211; in fact, it is extremely simple.</p>
<p>To shed one kilogramme of weight, you must establish a calorie deficit of 7,700 calories. So, if you want to lose one kilogramme every week, you must establish a 1,000-calorie deficit every day. This is entirely feasible. The true conflict is one of the minds. One must begin to love their own body and focus on eating in proper portions while avoiding overindulgence. <h2><b>How long have you been working with Aditya Roy Kapoor, and what fitness improvements have you made since then?</b></h2>
<p><b>Robert Behl:</b><span style="font-weight: 400;"> In January 2022, I began preparing Adi for The Night Manager and Gumrah. He was already quite aware of his strength and endurance, and he had excellent muscle memory. My objective was to chisel him in a manner that is realistic and appropriate for an ex-navy officer.</span></p>
<h2><b>Could you describe the exercise programme you created for the actor in The Night Manager?</b></h2>
<p><b>RB: </b><span style="font-weight: 400;">It was difficult for me to meet Aditya&#8217;s fitness objectives while the crew prepared for the lengthy shoot timings. There was not much time for schedule and regularity. After 12–14 hours of filming, he would exercise for 90–2 hours every day.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">He mixed callisthenics, strength and conditioning, movement, balance, and hypertrophy into his daily routines. High-intensity workouts helped him define his body while motions kept him flexible during the film&#8217;s production.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">For a while, filming, training, and the demanding fasting cardio were tiring, but his body eventually adjusted for betterment. Bollywood actors frequently put their bodies through a lot when they transition between roles.</span></p>
<h2><b>How did his diet fit with his exercises for this specific role?</b></h2>
<p><b>RB: </b><span style="font-weight: 400;">Our objective was to keep Aditya Roy Kapoor in good physical condition, with a lean, strong body, for which diet is essential. Aditya kept track of his food preparation. In actuality, each actor&#8217;s calorie intake was tailored to his or her particular character. Aditya was strictly in a calorie deficit during the shoot according to the framework of 1500–1600 calories.</span></p>
<h2><b>What would you say about his fitness philosophy?</b></h2>
<p><b>RB: </b><span style="font-weight: 400;">Aditya Roy Kapoor prefers to maintain good health by putting a strong emphasis on his mental and spiritual well-being, among other things. While his line of work frequently needs him to change his physique, he is aware of his physical limitations and does not let them overwhelm him.</span></p>
