<p>To perform this pose, sit on your knees so that your body remains straight, while your knees form a right angle.</p>
<p>Next, arch your spine backward and touch the heels of your feet with your hands.</p>
<p>Hold the position for a few seconds, then slowly return to the initial position.</p>
<p>Performing this pose will help give a boost to your energy levels and endurance.</p>

<p>Further, taking support of your shoulders, arms and feet, lift your back off the floor.</p>
<p>Keep breathing slowly and deeply.</p>
<p>Maintain the posture for one minute. Relax, then repeat.</p>

<p>Now, raise your arms parallel to the ground.</p>
<p>Hold for 30 seconds. Relax, then repeat.</p>

<p>Now, using your tiptoes, lift your legs, and try to place your knees on the edge of your upper arms.</p>
<p>Slowly shift your body weight forward, then lift your toes up the ground, one leg at a time.</p>
<p>Hold the position for as long as possible.</p>
<p>Practise daily.</p>

<p>Performing a single yoga pose now and then probably won’t do much to relieve back pain. Consistency is key. Doing a series of yoga poses daily may be more likely to bring you pain relief.</p>
<p>When you do yoga is important, too. You may be too stiff when you wake up to do a full routine. Choose a time of day when your muscles are more relaxed. You can also break up poses throughout the day. Try easier poses in the morning and more difficult ones later.</p>
<p>Here are nine yoga poses that may help relieve AS pain:</p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">If you are a regular gym goer, you are certainly familiar with the feeling of reaching a fitness plateau, when you have been working out consistently for months but are not experiencing the same results you saw a few months ago. It&#8217;s annoying and demotivating, but it&#8217;s also a sign that things need switching up.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;"><a href="https://www.fitnessindiashow.com/stretching-exercises-yasmin-karachiwala/">Yasmin Karachiwala</a>, Fitness Expert and Celebrity Master Instructor offered the following advice to help you break through your fitness plateau and get back on track to reaching your fitness goals:</span></p>
<h2><b>Alter your training program</b></h2>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">&#8220;If you&#8217;ve been performing the same exercises and regimens for a long time, your body may have acclimated, slowing your growth. Changing your routine is one method to break past your plateau. Experiment with new exercises, and heavier weights, or modify the sequence or duration of your sessions. You may also experiment with other types of workouts. For example, if you&#8217;ve been doing a lot of weightlifting, consider incorporating some cardio or a yoga session into your routine. The key is to push your body in new ways to stimulate muscle growth and improve overall fitness.&#8221; advised Yasmin.</span></p>
<h2><b>Increase your effort</b></h2>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">If you&#8217;ve been exercising at the same intensity for a time, you might need to push yourself a little harder to notice results. Adding high-intensity intervals to your training is one method to do this. High-intensity interval training (HIIT) consists of brief bursts of intensive activity followed by rest intervals. These activities are excellent for improving cardiovascular health, burning fat, and building muscular mass. Lifting bigger weights is another approach to boost intensity. If you&#8217;ve been using the same weights for a time, experiment with increasing a few pounds to observe how your body reacts.</span></p>
<h2><b>Enhance your diet</b></h2>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Nutrition is an important aspect of reaching fitness objectives. Make sure you&#8217;re eating nutrient-dense foods and receiving enough protein to power your exercises. If you aren&#8217;t currently tracking your macronutrients, this is an excellent time to start. The three primary dietary categories are referred to as macronutrients or macronutrients. You can verify that you&#8217;re receiving the proper quantity of each macronutrient by tracking your macros. To improve your nutrition, Yasmin recommends eating a handful of 23 almonds per day. Protein, fiber, vitamin E, calcium, copper, magnesium, and riboflavin are all found in almonds.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">They also include iron, potassium, zinc, and B vitamins niacin, thiamine, and folate. A 30-gram serving of almonds contains 13g of unsaturated fat and 1g of saturated fat. In reality, almonds are a delightfully essential element of every diet, not just plant-based diets. You may also try eating more whole foods like fruits, vegetables, and lean meats while reducing your intake of processed foods and sweets.</span></p>
<h2><b>Obtain ample rest and recuperation</b></h2>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">&#8220;Overtraining can sometimes be detrimental to your growth. Make sure your body has adequate time to relax and recuperate between workouts. This includes getting proper rest, taking rest days, stretching, and foam rolling to avoid injury&#8221; advised Yasmin.</span></p>
<h2><b>Establish new objectives</b></h2>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">&#8220;Having a specific objective in mind might help you stay motivated and focused. If you&#8217;ve reached a fitness plateau, it&#8217;s time to set a new objective. This might range from running a 5k to lifting a specific weight. Setting a goal allows you to strive towards something concrete and quantifiable, which may help you stay motivated and focused&#8221; advised Yasmin.</span></p>
<h2><b>Consider hiring a personal trainer</b></h2>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">If you&#8217;re still having trouble breaking through your fitness plateau, it might be time to seek expert assistance. A personal trainer may analyze your current fitness level and provide a customized strategy to help you break past your plateau. They may also give encouragement and accountability, as well as fitness suggestions and tactics.</span></p>

The stress of it all, as well as the post-pregnancy weight increase, hit me all at once. &#8220;I used to look in the mirror and realise how much of myself I had lost over the years,&#8221;</span></i><span style="font-weight: 400;"> she recalls.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">She tried yoga, swimming, and ultimately a gym, where she was &#8220;too nervous.&#8221; </span><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">&#8220;Sometimes, I&#8217;d just go in my salwar-kameez and attempt to blend in, hiding behind the equipment.&#8221;</span></i></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This world of weight lifting, repetitions, and protein drinks were foreign to Dembla so she just mimicked what the gym bunnies around her were doing. </span><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">&#8220;Eventually, I made friends, and the lads would assist me out. I became obsessed with working out and shed 25 kg as a result. I was in a better mood.&#8221;</span></i></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">She informed her spouse a year later that she wanted to begin her own gym. He said, </span><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">“Are you insane? All of a sudden, yeh kaunsa bhoot chadh gaya dimag mein?” “But I was motivated, so I took an online gym training course and hired a neighbouring flat so that I could be close to my home as well.&#8221;</span></i></p>
<pre><span style="color: #333399;"><b>It didn't end there for her…</b></span></pre>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">When she reached 40, she established a new goal for herself: to have a six-pack. </span><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">&#8220;However, there was a lot of pushback; people began saying on social media that I was getting macho and using steroids. Nobody dared to say it to me directly because they knew they&#8217;d get slapped if they did.&#8221;</span></i></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Kiran Dembla had her six-pack and an opportunity from the Indian Body Building Federation to compete in a World Bodybuilding Championship in Budapest seven months later.</span></p>
<p><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">&#8220;My husband opposed since I&#8217;d have to wear a bikini, but I eventually won him over.</span></i> <i><span style="font-weight: 400;">I consider it a blessing that I do not live with my in-laws, as they do not interfere with my decisions.&#8221;</span></i></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Dembla&#8217;s life is now a few galaxies distant from her previous one.</span><i><span style="font-weight: 400;"> &#8220;I moved from being a housewife with no aspirations or hobbies to being a bodybuilder and a personal trainer to hundreds of people. I had to give up my love of eating and afternoon siestas, but it was well worth it.&#8221;</span></i></p>

<p>This workout training will help improve your <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/B_1Ndx9DC5K/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">cardiovascular endurance</a>, your speed, and your power output.</p>
<h2>The 5-Minute Bodyweight HIIT Workout</h2>
<p>Before jumping into the workout, don&#8217;t forget to warm up. We recommend doing moves like high knees, mountain climbers, and side twists. Here&#8217;s a dynamic warmup we like to do before workouts. Perform each exercise for 30 seconds followed by a 10-second rest. Complete three sets of each exercise before advancing to the following exercise.</p>
<p>Once you&#8217;ve completed all the exercises, take a one-minute rest, then repeat the entire circuit for one more round. If you&#8217;re a beginner, feel free to perform one set of each exercise and take a longer rest period if necessary — do what works for you! Don&#8217;t forget to cool down after your workout with a quick stretching routine or with a flexibility session.</p>
